Angela van der Merwe
Angela van der Merwe (nee Coleman) studied film and video technology at Pretoria Tecnikon and then proceeded to attend the university of life by backpacking around the world for two years.
She started her career as a researcher at Stock Options and quickly worked her way up to a management position at this stock footage and talent clearance company.
Thereafter Angela began a five year run as a post production producer at Ministry of Illusion.Her Work at this busy visual effects and animation facility provided her with a keen understanding of the post production process and the industry as a whole.It also called uon her to put her scriptwriting and production skills to use on projects where Ministry of Illusion were assigned jobs from conception through to completion.
She then joined glasshouse in 2008.Angela is the first port of call for both clients and editors as she handles all production related issues.
Angela is a mother of two, a passionate writer and producer who believes that a smile goes alot further than a bark.
She can be described as an extremist and perfectionist. Nothing should be done in half measures!
Cheryl Lessing
Cheryl started off her illustrious career as South Africa's first leading Lady Ocsar contender at Wits Drama school many moons ago.
After being cruelly and unjustly pipped to the post by Charlize Theron she magnanimously opted for her second passion ....... Production.
Having worked within facilities, post companies and on the production of three children in quick succession of each other, Cheryl learned one thing very early on.....patience and tact !!!! (As well as medicinal quantities of chocolate).
Her imposing 4ft 9 and a half! frame has sent shivers up many a spine and her uncanny ability to "play with figures" has indeed set her apart in her field.
At the end of a long , paper filled day" says Cheryl, "all that matters to me is a happy editor, a satisfied client, a fully stocked fridge and a glorious family to end the day off with" - Amen to that!
